Donate to the ReStore

Every donation of goods helps a Centre County family build a decent and affordable home.

Donate goods to Habitat for Humanity of Greater Centre County's ReStore to make a difference in our community. Your donation is tax deductible. Proceeds raised through the ReStore benefits the mission of Habitat for Humanity of Greater Centre County to bring people together to build homes, communities, and hope.  Our ReStore sells items donated from businesses and individuals in our community and help us ensure strong and stable families and communities. In addition, by repurposing furniture, appliances, and building materials our ReStore actively help reduce area landfill waste each year. That benefits us all!

What Can You Donate?

We accept new and gently used appliances, furniture, building materials, household goods and more from individuals and companies. We only accept what we can sell. There are certain items (e.g. clothing, mattresses, and bedding, stained or torn upholstered furniture, etc.) that we cannot accept due to state and local health regulations. If you're unsure about whether or not we'll take something, just call (814-353-2390, ext. 3) or email (restore@habitatgcc.org) to ask!

For a complete list of what we can and cannot accept, please review our Acceptable Donations list.  Our list is also written below.

How Do You Donate?

Our Habitat ReStore staff and volunteers make the donation process as simple as possible.

Drop Off / In Person: When dropping off a donation, please speak to a staff person at the Service Desk to confirm that we can accept your item(s). Also, we have staff and volunteers available to help you unload. Also, please keep in mind staff or volunteers have the right to refuse any donation not meeting our donation guidelines.
