ReStore Wins at Festival of Trees (click here) What is ReStore? ReStore is a retail outlet for new and used donated building materials. Items are attractively priced at generous discounts for sale to the public. Proceeds support Habitat for Humanity of Greater Centre County’s building program. Because materials are donated, our inventory changes regularly so stop in often. You never know what treasures you might find. Have Items to Donate? ReStore accepts all types of new and used building materials and fixtures in 100% working order. ReStore receives donated materials from area businesses, organizations, and individuals who are reorganizing, redecorating, or remodeling. Donations are tax deductible. Acceptable Items Lumber, doors, windows, roofing, flooring, plumbing, masonry, architectural, working electrical appliances, cabinets, countertops, home decor, paint, hardware, electrical fixtures and tools. Items We Cannot Accept Lead-based materials, items containing asbestos, tub surrounds, storm windows, aluminum siding, window parts or pieces, upholstered furniture, parts of larger items, electrical panel boxes, breaker switches, mattresses, garage doors, insulation less than R19, used carpet and padding, acidic or caustic products, toxic materials, computer electronics. ReStore Wish List ReStore is always in need of certain items to carry out daily operations. Please consider making a donation from the following items: cleaning supplies, labels (1”x3” or 3/4” round), supplies for first aid kit Volunteer at ReStore ReStore relies on volunteers for much of its staffing. There are a number of volunteer positions available like cashier, shelf stocker, helping to pick up donations, etc. If you would like to volunteer, click here to send an email to the ReStore Manager. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ReStore accepts donations of new and used building materials and fixtures in 100% working condition from remodeling jobs, business closeouts, stores, individuals, contractors and builders. ReStore may REFUSE materials based on material condition, current needs, ownership levels or for any other reason. ReStore is currently NOT accepting additional quantities of: Used fluorescent lights/bulbs Used electric baseboard heaters Aluminum storm windows Single-pane window sashes Dishwashers over 7 years old Appliances over 10 years old Double ovens, wall ovens Cook tops Used toilets Desks Non-claw foot steel/cast-iron tubs Used shower/tub doors ................................................................................................................................................
