ReStore is a retail outlet for new and used donated building materials. Items are attractively priced at generous discounts for sale to the public. Proceeds support Habitat for Humanity of Greater Centre County’s building program. Because materials are donated, our inventory changes regularly so stop in often. You never know what treasures you might find. Have Items to Donate? ReStore accepts all types of new and used building materials and fixtures in 100% working order. ReStore receives donated materials from area businesses, organizations, and individuals who are reorganizing, redecorating, or remodeling. Donations are tax deductible. Acceptable Items Lumber, doors, windows, roofing, flooring, plumbing, masonry, architectural, working electrical appliances, cabinets, countertops, home decor, paint, hardware, electrical fixtures and tools. Items We Cannot Accept Lead-based materials, items containing asbestos, used tub surrounds, storm windows, aluminum siding, window parts or pieces, upholstered furniture, parts of larger items, electrical panel boxes, breaker switches, mattresses, garage doors, used carpet and padding, acidic or caustic products, toxic or hazardous materials, and computers or electronics. ReStore Wish List ReStore is always in need of certain items to carry out daily operations. Please consider making a donation from the following items: cleaning supplies, labels (1”x3” or 3/4” round), packing tape, supplies for first aid kit, ice melt, snow shovels, heavy duty ratchet straps, tape measures, refrigerator thermometers Volunteer at ReStore ReStore relies on volunteers for much of its staffing.
