It is critical that individuals NOT VOLUNTEER AT THE RESTORE while they are experiencing illness symptoms such as fever, cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, runny/stuffy nose, body aches, chills, or fatigue.
If you answer “yes” to any, you will be asked to leave the ReStore and immediately notify Habitat for Humanity of Greater Centre County. Do not return until given clearance.

HFHGCC relies on several volunteers – many with unique skill-sets – to support day-to-day ReStore operations.
Habitat for Humanity of Greater Centre County ReStore is a great place to put your talents to work. From customer service to furniture repair, from merchandise displays to appliance testing, the ReStore offers a multitude of volunteer opportunities geared toward individual interests and skills.
The ReStore accepts donations on Tuesday and Wednesday and open for public shopping Friday and Saturday. Volunteers are welcomed on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday 9:00 am to 5 pm.
Volunteer groups should contact the ReStore at (814)353-2390 or restore@habitatgcc.org. Please do not sign up online if you are part of a group.
100% of the ReStore profits go to HFHGCC to help fulfill its mission of providing quality homes to deserving, working families. An added benefit is that many of the items we sell would otherwise end up in the garbage. In 2016, the ReStore diverted approximately 175 tons (that’s 350,000 pounds!!) of goods from local landfills. The ReStore provides businesses and individuals an opportunity to repurpose items they no longer need, while offering a tax benefit for contributing to a qualified 501(c) 3 organization.
